Our Revolution- Bernie Sanders
Finished book number 12 out of 100 today!
Category #6: Non- Fiction: Our Revolution - Bernie Sanders
This one was a really, really good book. The only thing is it is non-fiction so you have to have more patience and time to read the book. It’s also not a great one to read when you’re tired since you need to think about what you’re reading.
Sanders takes time to explain his history, the presidential campaign he ran, and the political issues he feels strongly about. These are all explained in an easy to understand way, so you don’t need a huge knowledge of politics to understand what is going on. He expresses his progressive views, and what agrees and disagrees with other candidates about. One of the things I respect most about Bernie Sanders is that he clearly and honestly states his opinions, but he doesn’t drag other candidates through the mud to do it.
I’ll end the review here, before I get too political, but I’d highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a better understanding of our government and current politics.
Thanks for asking!
1- top 3 books:
1. Peter Pan
2. Wuthering Heights
3. Changes constantly, but right now its the Westward Bound series on kindle,
3- how do you organize your bookshelf?
- I try to keep it organized alphabetically by authors last name, then by series in alphabetical order, then the books of the series in reading order. Im consyantly getting new books though so I have a hard time keeping it organized.
100 Book Challenge

Typewriter: Have you ever cried over a book?
- so many times! I get really attatched to characters!
Letter: Who is your character crush?
- where do I start? Gus Waters (TFIOS, basic, but yes!), Mercy Thompson (Mercy Thompson series by Patricia briggs), Kara Danvers (Supergirl), and Clark Davis (Love Comes Softly) are some of the bigger ones.
Cover: Recommend a book for you?
- You mentioned Lord Of the Rings. Do you like fantasy? The Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Brigfs is what Id recommend. Its not like en entire new world, but its fascinating how she blemds werewolves, fae, shape shifters, and vampires into our world so seemlessly. Also amazing characterization and an awesome bad ass girl hero!

No Love Allowed- Kate Evangelista
Love this book! It’s a fun, light read. YA romance with a protaganist who has bi-polar disorder. I mention that for diversity reasons because it seems like so many books who’s protagonist have mental health diagnoses only focus on the worst aspects of the diagnoses and forgets that theres so much more to the character’s life. The xharacter can still live a mostly as long as they take steps to manage their mental health. It touches lightly on it, but the main focus is the romance. Kinda of cheesy in some parts, but in the fun way.
Current reading list!
I got two positive responses! That’s enough for me! Thanks guys!
I’ve mentioned before that I’m doing a 100 book challenge. I can post that list if anyone’s interested! I’m currently working on these categories!
6.) Non-fiction: Our Revolution- Bernie Sanders
16.) Reread a book: Beauty- Robin McKinley
56.) A main character about your age: Jane Eyre- Charlotte Bronte (This one I just read a little bit each night so it will definitely take awhile. According to my kindle I’m 63% through the book)
I’ll discuss them more when I finish them!
Should I start posting the books I’m reading as I read them?
I’d love to have more book discussions with you guys. I was debating on starting a booklyr blog, but I tend to read slower, especially when I’m working.
